On day 35 of this history-making “year of firsts,” I hope you enjoy the first NFL championship game where nobody will lose because Mr. Tony Dungy and Mr. Lovey Smith will both make history later today. Watching the Super Bowl today while attempting to mix up a fresh batch of blog dust has the potential of becoming hazardous to your computer’s health and well-being.

God willing, we’ll resume our male-female relationship series tomorrow if the creek down the street don’t rise. That’s the way my dearly departed grandmother said it whenever it was time to leave her presence. This grammatically incorrect phrase is just my way of honoring my sheroe for unselfishly giving me nothing less than her best. May the peace of God be with each of you as you reach one and teach one how to love absent any conditions and trust God minus any reservations.
