“Bring Our Brothers Home”(Revised)
President George W. Bush, I prayerfully petition you to sign the executive order that will pave the way for our courageous troops to come home. It’s okay for real men to humble ourselves and admit when we’ve made a mistake. It’s time to bring our brave men and women home. Trust God.
Saying, “I was wrong,” or “I made a mistake” or “I’ve changed my mind” just might produce the “shock and awe” you sought when you initiated an escalating civil war that human hands will never win. As always, the choice to do so is yours alone to make. Only a bad wind refuses to change directions.
President Bush, the whole world is watching and waiting for you to lead by example like Jesus did, to give all God’s children a reason to cheer, to let hope wipe away every tear, to let your actions speak louder than your words.
President Bush, I beseech you to give the whole world a valid reason to start loving and respecting America again instead of hating our great nation so. Our children will thank you for generations to come. Only God knows what will happen next. In God we must still trust.
