When Least Expected™

On July 19, 2007, Lyn at, “It’s A Woman’s World,” honored me with a “Thoughtful Blogger Award.” As always, I appreciate all the love and support God has gifted to me through all the bloggers who have blessed me since January 1, 2007. To be quite honest, I’m overwhelmed by all the recent awards bestowed upon me during what may have been my worst months as a blogger.

I don’t like to complain about personal challenges and setbacks because we all experience extended series of “sunny-side-down” days after the invisible fist of Adversity strikes. As you know,

“Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.”

I’ve had my fair share of head-on collisions with humanity’s spiritual enemies this year. Sometimes God uses Adversity to test our faith, to see if we “honestly believe” what we as public speakers and writers publicly espouse.

“A faith that cannot be tested is a faith that cannot be trusted.”

Only God knows how many more “faith tests” and spiritual “crisis” my humbled soul will have to survive before 2007 finally comes to an end. But by the grace of the Almighty still go I.
