About The Author

During an extended series of “sunny-side-down days,” Solomon noticed how quickly the darkness of Despair cloaked the divine illumination of the truth that gave him hope. Before emerging out of the darkness that spiritually blinded his mind to the truth, he struggled to overcome the feeling of hopelessness and the sense of powerlessness that subdued him.

Solomon penned Steppin’ Out Of The Darkness, “When Good People Become Great,” to shine a light on the introspective, life-changing process that gives good people destined to become great reasons to trust God. The rewarding, albeit humbling, experience of mentoring children, students, and young adults influenced this publisher’s decision to produce a family-friendly line of inspirational products.

As an author, artist, literary advocate, and inspirational speaker, Solomon enjoys exploring creative ways to share what Adversity taught him about “personal leadership” after the fall he survived. The lessons lived and learned taught him that there comes a defining moment in every person’s life when they will rise to their feet and meet the greatness of God’s faithfulness.

Solomon honestly believes that no greater love exists than the one Jesus Christ displayed is still the greatest source of inspiration that any generation will need to beat impossible odds with God’s help. He loves challenging the leaders that Crumb Snatcher “marked for destruction” to become critically thinking readers who live, love, and lead like Jesus did – by example.

Solomon has chosen to spend his life stirring up the gift deep within the gifted souls of the leaders he meets on the streets of humanity’s global village. He remains hopeful that the fruits of his labor will encourage the readers of Steppin’ Out Of The Darkness to imagine the endless parade of possibilities that appear when God’s perfect love inspires fearless acts of faith.

“But by grace still go I.”

Hi Solomon, it’s your (walking) neighbor. Here’s the information for speaking at Harriett Tubman Elementary School. The school counselor’s name is Ms. Duvernay. I am sure she would love to have you as a speaker for Career Week which is this week for 5th graders. My aunt’s name is Mary and she works at Harriett Tubman as well. I am still checking out your website and will be in touch. Take Care!

This is a new day for America. WE DID IT! But the work has just begun. Now, is the time when N**gaz become Brothaz; when B**ches become Women; when The ‘Hood becomes a Neighborhood… now, is the time when “Pookie” and “O-Dogg” can stand tall and know, that we are somebody and that we will be counted and regarded as, EQUAL. But the work has just begun. We must continue to stand and fight for what is right in the sight of God. We must execute our efforts in alignment with the Holy Scriptures. Let us not be weary; let us not be prideful. But let us join hands: Black, White, Asian, Latino, Rich and Poor… let us join hands as One Nation, TRULY Under God, as we trust God to lead this nation and world through the tireless efforts of a Blackman. For the first time!
President Obama, we love you Brother. And we are proud to be, American.

Please keep your head up Manchild, and know God is not done with us yet. Black men will continue to step up and be the men God called us to be.
